The growing need for a U.S. laboratory accreditation organization with
competitive pricing and high quality service brought about the
establishment of Perry Johnson Laboratory Accreditation, Inc. (PJLA).
PJLA offers accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025 for laboratories
performing testing and/or calibration in a wide range of fields.
Perry Johnson Laboratory Accreditation, Inc. (PJLA) is a full-service accreditation body with technical experts and technical assessors on staff. PJLA’s technical assessors have years of experience in testing and calibration fields. They have undergone training in ISO/IEC 17025:2005 and other relevant training sessions including Measurement Uncertainty. PJLA has selected our assessors to conduct ISO/IEC 17025 services due to their extensive work experience in testing or calibration and their years of experience in ISO/IEC 17025:2005 assessing practices. PJLA has recently developed a technical committee that consists of experts in fields such as: Electrical, Mechanical, Mass, and Thermodynamic Calibration and Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Oil, and Biological Testing. Members of the technical committee assist PJLA with the development of technical polices and provide technical assistance to PJLA staff. PJLA is a MRA Signatory of the Asia Pacific Laboratory Cooperation (APLAC) for our testing program and a Full Member of the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) for our testing program. PJLA is also a member of the National Cooperation for Laboratory Accreditation (NACLA). PJLA currently is on the ISO/IEC 17025:2005 recognized accreditation body listings from General Motors and the Chrylser Corporation.
