At PJLA, we are committed to advancing the quality and credibility of personnel certification in alignment with internationally recognized standards. As such, we are pleased to extend our invitation to join PJLA’s accreditation program for Training Providers and/or Curriculum Developers in accordance with the ISO/IEC 17024:2012: “Conformity assessment — General requirements for bodies operating certification of persons”.
WHAT IS ISO/IEC 17024?
ISO/IEC 17024 is the international standard for personnel certification bodies, ensuring they operate with consistency, impartiality, and competence. This standard outlines the requirements for organizations certifying individuals based on objective, evidence-based criteria. Achieving ISO/IEC 17024 accreditation demonstrates that a certification body delivers credible, reliable, and globally recognized certifications—enhancing trust among employers, regulators, and industries seeking qualified professionals.

STEPS TO ACCREDITATION
PJLA will conduct a full accreditation assessment of the personnel certification body that will encompass quality management system activities and technical requirements. This accreditation process includes a preliminary and post assessment documentation review. A certificate will be granted upon the successful completion of the assessment.
Personnel certification bodies will be required to be assessed on an annual basis to ensure maintenance of the accreditation program.
